We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data team, reporting to the Head of Data and working side by side with the business, finance, marketing, and engineering teams, to help extract the full value from our data in order to ask and answer questions, make decisions, and optimize, all to improve the experience for our customers and marketplace sellers by helping our internal teams with the appropriate data and reports.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Follow-up and analysis of the main KPIs related to marketing, business, operations and finance in order to detect deviations, propose improvement actions, facilitate the decision-making process, and to detect/prevent potential loss of business faster.
- Continuous development of efficient/automated reporting dashboards, tools, and processes to support decision-making.
- Assisting stakeholders in the usage of the various existing systems and datasets available within the company and driving the development of new solutions.
- Ad-hoc analysis to assist different teams in the decision making process, such as evaluating the performance of A/B Tests.
- Prepare the monthly presentations for Business review meetings and Boards.
- Support CFO, CMO, Marketing managers and SEO manager in the process of preparing the annual Budget and Rolling forecast.
- Collaborate with and support the different teams inside the company, serving as the link and translator between these stakeholders and the data team, managing, clarifying, and defining their requests.
What we are looking for:
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum 2 year experience as a Data Analyst.
- Experience in a customer-centric company, preferably e-commerce, transactional marketplace, or e-health, is a plus.
- People Skills:
- Excellence: in organization, planning and execution. Focus on details and ability to work under pressure and prioritize. Experience with Agile is a plus.
- Proactivity: proposes new ideas and is able to work independently.
- Ownership: takes on every challenge with responsibility until we find the solution. Problem solving mind-set.
- Team: accustomed to collaborating with many stakeholders from multiple departments, solving problems together and sharing in achievements, failures, successes.
- Highly analytical skills: obsession with data and continuous improvement.
- Professional Skills:
- Proficiency in the use of Excel.
- Experience using a BI tool. Qlik Sense is a plus.
- Good command of SQL.
- Knowledge of Python or similar programming language.
- Languages: Spanish and English (proficiency).
- Domain knowledge (marketing, business, finance, operations, logistics) is a plus.
